Summary:

Trabuco Canyon Water District (TCWD) provides water service, and in some cases reclaimed water service, recycled water service and waste water services, to applicants, customers and properties located within the District boundaries.

The District’s primary facilities is comprised of our Water Treatment Plant located in the City of Lake Forest, the Waste Water Treatment Plant located in the upper Robinson Ranch development, the Trabuco Creek Wells facility located in Trabuco Canyon, and our Administration Facility which located just outside the gates of Dove Canyon. In addition to the facility sites, TCWD has over 30 remotes with a challenging geographic topology.

TCWD was in need of a reliable and responsive System Integrator to provide task based and on-call support services for their Water system. Their needs included remote support four (4) hour response time & on-site support within a 24-hour mobilization.

Key Project Elements:

  • Controls network troubleshooting, including radios, routers, and firewalls. Including communication pack capture & interrogation
  • Software auto-dialer callout support and troubleshooting efforts within their virtualized SCADA architecture
  • Instrument validation including 4-20 mA spanning
  • Support with vendor RMA process for bad instrumentation
  • PLC development and field troubleshooting
  • Migration modernization from InTouch to Ignition. Our team fully tested the conversion efforts prior to onsite installation, performed system validation, & decommissioning of the legacy InTouch SCADA system
  • Process controls troubleshooting for both analyzers and control strategies
  • Power diagnostics of low-voltage equipment

Testimonials

“AIC stepped in to support our on-call needs during a time when we were uncertain who could provide our operations and maintenance teams with the level of support we require.

Their performance and response times have exceeded our expectations, and we’re excited to continue working with AIC into the future. It’s truly been a great partnership.”
